Our Vision for the South Asian Diaspora
Millions listen. But the global industry stays silent.
We’re changing that — one artist at a time.

The South Asian diaspora has long contributed to global music — from Bollywood soundtracks echoing in London clubs to Pakistani qawwali influencing Western orchestras. Yet, despite this creative power, many Asian artists remain disconnected from the mainstream platforms that elevate voices world wide

At Seriously Agile Media & PR, our mission is clear: to bridge this gap. We are building a space where South Asian musicians — whether independent rappers in Karachi, folk fusion bands in Toronto, or electronic producers in Kuala Lumpur — can connect with industry leaders, including the Recording Academy.

Our platform is not just media. It’s a movement. One that uses AI, cross-cultural strategy, and digital visibility to elevate unheard talent.

“Music is the global heart beat of the world and you can’t chart globally if your story isn’t told globally.” – Shabir Mustehsan, Founder Seriously Agile Media

At the TIME100 Summit in New York City, Shabir Mustehsan of Seriously Agile Media and Miss Universe Pakistan, Noor Xarmina, proudly represented South Asia on one of the world’s most prestigious stages. In a room of global visionaries, CEOs, and media icons — only two South Asians were present: and they were both there with purpose.

This moment followed Shabir’s recent feature in Startup Pakistan, one of the region’s largest entrepreneurial platforms with 5M+ followers, where he was recognized for reimagining how artists and creatives from South Asia can rise through innovation, strategy, and visibility.

At TIME100, Noor broke stereotypes as a venture capitalist and London Business School graduate, while Shabir used the opportunity to elevate South Asian voices in media, AI, and global leadership spaces.

“There’s no lack of talent in South Asia,” said Mustehsan. “But we are still underrepresented in global spaces — across media, tech, and leadership. We came here to change that.”

“Women are rising from the most unexpected places,” Noor added. “And we’re here to remind the world to keep watching.”

Together, they connected with TIME editors, Forbes and Fortune executives, and cultural icons like Ryan Reynolds, Meghan Markle, and Nikki Glaser, marking a new chapter in how South Asians take up space in global storytelling — not as tokens, but as leaders.
